(5/23/25) prayer request from Pastor Chris Aulson for Tempe saint, Mary Benninger: - “Please keep Mary Benninger in the forefront of your prayers. She was already recuperating from surgery on a fractured ankle (in four places) and a ruptured tendon. This morning (Friday, May 23) when I called to touch base, she let me know that she may have suffered a mini-stroke last night. I went by to pray for her in person, and she said her left arm was feeling heavy and she wasn’t able to grip very strong with her left hand. After prayer, she felt a little better, but I encouraged her to go to the ER. Once there, the hospital admitted her and they have been doing a number of tests. Encouragingly, many of the tests have come back good, but she is still waiting to hear conclusively whether she had a stroke or not. She wanted as many people praying for her as possible so that she can get back in action. Please help me pray for quickened healing and resurrection life in Mary’s body (and also that her blood pressure would go down). If there was a stroke (or mini-stroke), that there would be clarity on how to proceed, and even better complete recovery from all symptoms. If it was a false alarm, that there would be a conclusive report that would confirm that. Mary has been a blessing and a prayer warrior for so many around the world. It’s our turn to bombard heaven’s throne of grace on her behalf!”
